We’re thrilled to have you join us for our wedding! To make the day smooth and enjoyable for everyone, we’ve gathered key details here; from where to be, to what to wear, to what happens after “I do.” Thank you for being part of our celebration.
📍 Where is the ceremony being held?
The ceremony will take place outdoors at Braeside Park, between the Magpie and Kookaburra car parks. These are located toward the end of the park’s road circuit.
🌧 What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather turns unfavourable, the ceremony will move to our indoor reception venue at Boatrocker. We’ll notify guests as early as possible.
🅿️ Is there parking at the ceremony?
Yes! Guests can park for free in the Magpie Carpark, which is closest to the ceremony area.
➕ Can I bring a plus-one?
Plus-ones have been included based on your RSVP.
If anything changes, please let us know as soon as possible so we can update our vendors.
🚻 Are there restrooms nearby?
Public restrooms are available next to the Visitor Centre, located in the centre of the park’s circuit. It’s a short walk or quick drive from the ceremony site.
🚐 Will there be transportation between the ceremony and reception?
Yes, shuttles will run between Braeside Park and Boatrocker to make travel easy for guests.
📸 What happens after the ceremony?
The wedding party will take photos nearby for about an hour. Guests can walk to the tables near the ceremony area, where drinks and food will be served while you relax and mingle.
👗 What is the dress code?
Cocktail attire.
Think cocktail dresses, a suit or sports coat.
For outfit coordination fans: the bridesmaids will be wearing purple, and the groomsmen will be wearing black suits.
🌡 What will the weather be like?
The expected temperature is around 25°C, but since it’s Melbourne, it could swing above 30°C or below 15°C depending on the forecast. Please dress comfortably and bring layers if needed.
🎁 Do you have a gift registry?
We don’t have a gift list and don’t expect gifts; your presence means the world, especially for those travelling.
If you’d still like to give something, we’ll have a wishing well at the reception for notes, cards, or anything else you’d like to share.
We’ll also have bank transfer/PayID details available on the day.
